Iona Pierre Scholarship

The Bovell Cancer Diabetes Foundation (BCDF) is pleased to announce the Iona Pierre Cervical Cancer Champion Scholar- ship (IPCCCS) to increase cervical cancer awareness and prevention in Tobago and Trinidad. The scholarship will fund small, highly-targeted projects that address community awareness and education to strengthen the adoption of cervical cancer prevention behaviours in Tobago.

Cervical cancer, a disease of gender, is preventable and curable if diagnosed and treated early. We are calling for community project applications from secondary schools and community-based organisations.
