In Loving Memory

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph Joey Albert Bovell, who departed from this world on October 8th, 2023. Joey was the son of the late Theophilus and Mildred (Miss) Bovell of Belle Garden, Tobago. He has been residing in Canada for decades. He leaves to mourn his wife and children, sisters Lema, Effie, Adelia, Rosetta, Adonia, Eastlyn, and Lorna; brothers Eman, Justas, Flemming, and Henson (deceased), grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Joey will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched with his kindness, love, and laughter.

The 15th Annual "Diabetes in the Limelight Jamboree" is back again. It will be held in person this year, on the 10th November, 2023, starting at 10 am at the Roxborough Sporting Complex. The Bovell Cancer-Diabetes Foundation is sponsoring its 14th poster competition among school students aged 6 to 15 years to help raise awareness about diabetes prevention and effective management. This year's theme is Know Your Risk, Know Your Response. Create a poster to WIN prize money, and help PREVENT diabetes!
