BCDF's Work Continues Through COVID-19

by BCDF

Dear Supporters, Volunteers, Followers & Communities,

The Board of Directors, members and volunteers of BCDF hope that you are each doing well. This is an unprecedented time, and our lives have certainly and suddenly been disrupted in some way. BCDF hopes that you are each finding the support community you need.

BCDF is continuing to navigate the cancellation of our flagship fundraiser, the “Annual Breakfast & Diabetes Awareness Dialogue Morning”, as well as the monthly meetings of our “So In Love With my Feet Project” and “Small Group Workshops”. We are asking all our supporters, stakeholders and volunteers to look for new and different ways to engage with us as we move through these uncertain times.

Since the school closure and ‘stay-at-home’ order, we have been engaging our children and teens virtually at our weekly “Children & Teens Hangout” – the response has been good, but the numbers are below projection. Please encourage all children and teen with Internet access on phone or computer to attend.

While we are not able to see you in person at this time, BCDF is also working on ways to engage everyone through this uncertain time. Continue to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, our website and e-mail.
