BCDF Website Goes Live!

This website was created using primarily free and open source software. The basic website design is inspired by a template available from Studio 7 Designs The html and css was written using the freely available Amaya and Nvu. They both proved to be excellent alternatives for the task, and I highly recommend giving them a try. Most of the image editing was done in Picasa, along with GIMP for more complicated effects. Definitely worth a mention is the free Flash authoring program available from SWFTools. Not only is this program easy to use, but it is definitely an invaluable asset to website building. This site is best viewed using the free Firefox web browser. Browse around, and let us know your thoughts.
